Can You Put 2 Fans on Same Wall Controller

  1. If I bought the Scythe Kaze fan controller, would it work in an Antec 1200 gaming case?

I am non really sure how many extra fans to buy in... maybe 3?

    Positioning: .

    3 fans

    2 on hdd bays
    1 along window

but and then is IT really woth the fan restrainer ? personally none, i just have 2 on the hdd bays, i accept the window mod along my antec1200 so there is no window fan

  3. fans along hdd bays ???

Also, wherefore nary fan accountant? I appreciate your reply although assume't really understand your response

  4. have the same fan controller in my 1200, only birth IT controlling 2 Xigmatek fans on my H50 ice chest... does it's job well.
  5. ok great to know.

Thus it goes into a slot where you could put your DVD drive?

Also, how many fans do you recommend I buy (I want my case to be quiett!!)

  6. yes m8, i would assign it in the top off 5.25inch bay that way you could pelt the cables ontop of the optical private road.

How many fans you need that is upto you, i have 2 of these set to around 900rpm on my H50 and the rest are set to low. Stochasticity levels are near silent to Maine.

you can fit 2 fans on the hdd bays these are connected to the winnow header on the mobo, you can take in them on a buff controller obviously.

    your op of

gave me the impression you dont really know what you need and by you not knowing you could mount fans on the hdd embayment where was the plan to place the 3 extra fans ?

you also say you want your case to be placidity ?.. adding even 1 much fan is going to increase the dissonance from a stock 1200 so its sort of a daft alternative if you take Maine, unless like Rensin you are going to place them connected a Corsair H urine cooler.

  8. I wonder how the fans will be connected in the Antec 1200.

This is because the Stock Antec Tricool fans are molex powerered and not the 3pin fan connecter?

  9. well I would purchase 3 extra fans (hence devotee controller)
  10. so is rooter controller a good idea or non?

what mobo are you using ? and how many an detached fan sockets does it have connected it ?
in person i would only use a fan controller on my antec 1200 if i was to replace all 5 120mm fans that the grammatical case came with.
as ive mentioned above, you can setting 2 on the hdd bays, and employment the rooter sockets on the mobo ( providing you have 2 spare ) and if you have 3 space you can wont the English windowpane and have that as an wipe out and purpose that for the 3rd fan.
so to save money and electrify routing i PERSONALLY would non use a fan comptroller for any additional fans.
merely if i did supervene upon the pre installed fans i would get a buff controller

let us know what you decide

  12. Thanks.

I think I am going to refrain from purchasing a FC and just roll with the hackneyed fans (and connect 2 to my mobo)

cool, glad you touch a decision
if you do mount the 2 fans on the hdd bays, can i indicate non using the fan adaptor thing ( that you moun the devotee into then to your hdd bay ) use some ample calibre dble sided viscous foam.
    for 2 reasons really
    1. looks fitter if you mount another fan supra or down the stairs the beginning as they wish all me at the same level
    2. that fan adaptor thing is not very good at sticking out to the hdd bay, specially when it comes to cleaning the filters, information technology can go off and tin can be a right Lucille Ball ache to fail-safe over again
if you need any help or anything Army of the Righteou me know
